Samsung Galaxy S III vs HTC One X Review

I think the competitor of Samsung Galaxy S III is HTC One X. Both are hottest gadget and have almost same specs. This similarity make consumer confused to choose which one they should own. Samsung just launched their Galaxy S III last May while HTC One X launch a month earlier. Both smartphone using same OS, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and support 3G/4G connectivity (depending on variants) and also come with an array of sensors and connectivity, including Wi-Fi, bluetooth, GPS and so on. So, which one is your choice? Galaxy S III or HTC One X? Here I show you the comparison.

Screen comparison
Galaxy S III use Super AMOLED HD 4.8 inch which previously the technology applied on Galaxy Note while HTC One X use Super IPS LCD2 4.7 inch. The different between AMOLED and IPS is AMOLED looks better in dark conditions, where a traditional backlight become visible in areas of black, but IPS offers more accurate color reproduction and whiter whites than Super AMOLEDs.

Processor comparison
The Galaxy S II uses Quad core Exynos 1.4 Ghz which many reviewers said performs better than HTC One X NVidia Tegra Quad Core 1.5 GHz. It hard to feel the different between both two in multitasking, browsing and gaming but if we test using benchmarking software, it will show you the different.

Camera comparison
One of the key features of the HTC One X is its 8MP camera that boasts a f/2.0 aperture, blazing fast 4FPS burst mode. While speed and quality are 2 different things, the images turn out pretty good even on burst mode. The Galaxy S III also have 8 megapixel camera and come out with new feature called “Best Photo,” which will automatically select your best photos out of a series of eight photos taken in succession. Both smartphone have LED flash and can capture 1080p video.

Memory comparison
The truly weakness of HTC One X compared to the Galaxy S III is it not support for external memory such as microSD. The Galaxy S III comes in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB with microSD expansion while HTC One X comes in 32GB only.
