Polaroid announces first interchangeable lens Android camera

Sakar International has formally unveiled the distinctly Nikon-esque iM1836 – a modular camera system wearing Polaroid branding. There are no technical details about the sensor as yet, but the first model is said to be an Android-based, Wi-Fi-connected camera with Ricoh GXR-style interchangeable modules with the sensor built into the lens. Further adapter modules are promised to allow use of Pentax K, Nikon F and Micro Four Thirds lenses.

This Polaroid’s Android camera differs from Samsung’s; there is no 3G. You’ll be relying on either Wi-Fi or your smartphone to access the Internet, and it comes ready to tether (via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth).

The iM1836 runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and comes with a 10-30mm zoom lens. It features a 3.5” touch screen on the back of the body to operate it. The camera will be an 18 megapixels and video up to 1080p. The camera also will be embedded with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.

The iM1836 will cost $399, coming in the first quarter of 2013.

Sony Unveils New Hybrid cool Ultrabook, 20 inches Tabletop PC Running Windows 8

This week Sony has announced more details about its new Sony VAIO Tap 20 and Sony Vaio Duo 11 using Windows8 systems, including launch dates and pricing.

The new Sony Vaio Duo 11 sliding tablet Windows 8 system will be arriving later this month in stores for around $1,100, together with the Sony VAIO Tap 20, massive 20 inch tablet that will be priced at around $880.

The massive 20 inch Sony Vaio Tap 20 tablet is equipped with a 1600 x 900 pixel display, and is powered by an Intel Oct Bridge processor supported by 8GB of RAM, and comes with a removable battery and stand that allows you to lay the 20 inch screen flat on a surface when required.The computer is powered by Sony’s Mobile Bravia Engine 2 for better picture quality.

The Tap 20 has an integrated stand and wide-angle panel to enable viewing at multiple angles for a group of people. The tabletop PC can also be used as a fully functional desktop work on documents, check e-mail, and surf the web. The machine comes with a wireless keyboard and mouse. The machine supports 10-point multitouch operation and more.

The Sony Vaio Duo 11 can transform between a normal ultrabook profile and a multimedia tablet, is fitted with a 11.6 inch 1080p touchscreen display, powered by a choice of Intel Ivy Bridge processors ranging from the i3 up to the powerful i7, all supported by up to 4GB of memory, and a fast access solid state disk (SSD)with 128GB of storage and the ability to use Sony’s Sheet Battery technology.

The T Series Ultrabook has a brushed aluminum shell and now features a touch display on the T13 Ultrabook to take advantage of Windows 8. Sony has also unveiled a new T14 Ultrabook that has the same for connectivity options as the T13 and has an integrated optical drive supporting Blu-ray DVDs.

The Sony P series are aimed at students and everyday users and now includes the touchscreen enabled aluminum 14P model along with an E17 17-inch model featuring full HD resolution and a quad-core processor. The E Series also has available 11-inch, 14-inch, and 15-inch models all including backlit keyboards, except for the small 11-inch version. My dream PC comes true now.Huhuhu.

Old school Polaroid now is digital camera with build-in printer
