Microsoft Surface vs Apple’s iPad: Which one worth to buy?

Microsoft Surface tablet launched last week and get a lot of reviews. The best things about surface is the interface is really fresh, elegant and versatile. But when we compared with Apple’s iPad, which Surface has same price with, which one is worth to buy? Surface or iPad?

This video is about review comparison between Surface and iPad 4th generation made by Chris Pirillo. Even though Surface and iPad use different operating system and Apple has their own fan, but this video very useful for those who are new to the tablet and want to own one.

Microsoft Surface operate using Windows 8 RT while iPad using iOS 6. At the beginning of the video, Chris looks like lost Windows 8 setting when start browsing and I can understand it because I’m also find the Microsoft Windows 8 is not user-friendly and take some time to learn.

What we can summary from this video, Apple iPad is worth to buy and still the best overall tablet. With coming fourth generation, definitely iPad continue their best performance and incredible app support.

But hey wait. The Microsoft Surface still win others heart. You know, Oprah said Surface feels like a Mercedes-Benz to her!

“The full-size keyboard built right into the cover makes work easy, the very smart kickstand makes watching a movie or Skyping a friend a delight, the less than a pound-and-a-half weight makes a great alternative to a laptop,” she adds.

For those who rely so much on Microsoft product, the Surface is best choice. It is also the best productivity tablet yet. Since Windows 8 still new in tablet world, the number of apps also still not reach same level as Android apps and iOS apps. But don’t worry, a lot of Windows’s tablet coming out soon from other brand such as Samsung, HTC, Sony and so on.

The Surface could replace your laptop because the system almost same and familiar to us. No worry about support different environment.

In the video you can see how obvious it is that he doesn’t understand the surface. When he tries to bring up a previous opened window he is doing completely the wrong gesture. Also on the map frame rate drag around he is zoomed out on the ipad and zoomed in on the surface showing more detail. The video seems biased and staged.

Obviously Surface is much more valuable and useful than Ipad. Ipad is good for entertainment and playing game.
Surface can do those things plus it very good for doing some productivity stuff. With USB, memory flash u can store any document you want and play in the surface.
