Windows 8 not only getting new features but also a new logo as well. Looking back at Windows version along the way, Windows logo also evolved according their version. But since Windows 3.1 until Windows 7, logo style looks like waving flag.
“We did less of a re-design and more to return it to its original meaning and bringing Windows back to its roots – reimagining the Windows logo as just that – a window,” Sam Moreau said in a blog post, windowsteamblog.
Moreau added, with Windows 8, they want new logo that combine modern and classic by echoing the International Typographic Style (or Swiss design), matching Metro style design philosophy.
