Gundam Theme Park Opening in Tokyo in April

Bandai, the japanese conglomerate announced will open a miniature Gundam theme park known as “Gundam Front Tokyo”. The park will open to general public on April at 7th floor of Diver City Tokyo Plaza with 2,050 square-meter space.

There are two areas, paid and free zone. The paid-admission zones will feature a 16-meter wide hemispherical dome theater for imersive videos, a rojector display zone with rare production materials, an archive counter that will offer visitors, information on various Gundam projects, and “photospots” for taking pictures within the world of Gundam (with characters).

The free zones will include a display of the plastic models throughout the franchise’s history and a Gundam Apparel Shop. The Gundam is a metaseries of anime created by Sunrise studios that features giant robots (or “mecha”) called “Mobile Suits”. As a metaseries, Gundam is a fighting robot functioning with different designs and coloring.
